Flexible LED strips are everywhere — behind a TV, under a bar, along a shop window, across a facade. But a strip is only as good as the bead soldered onto it. The 5050 RGBW SMD LED (5054) combines a red, a green and a blue die with a dedicated 2700–6500K white channel in a single 5.3 × 5.0 × 1.6 mm package. One bead, millions of colours — and true, clean whites that plain RGB simply cannot deliver.
Mix white from red, green and blue alone and the result looks grey and consumes extra current. Adding a real white die solves it: crisp task light, soft pastel scenes and warm-to-cool mood changes from the same strip. At 20 mA per channel, with luminous output up to 800 mcd (red), 1800 mcd (green), 600 mcd (blue) and 10–12 lm of white, the 5050 RGBW stays bright, cool and efficient across a rated 60,000-hour lifetime.
